Ambassador Edigio was an early Ambassador who had great elegance and class presence in the United Nations. He was popular amongst haute société- very attractive always elegantly attired he cut, a swath in New York’s haute monde group.

Ambassador Rafik asha was extremely popular in New York - he loved the NY politicians and enjoyed their friendships. He was very humble and by the time he left NYC, he had an American accent. When he retired, he rented an apt in NY and stayed around.
