Rebecca Fannin, co-hosted an exciting timely talk with the manager, Sayeed Khan, of the Breitling Boutique, a luxurious Swiss watch emporium at 575 Madison Avenue. Rebecca, a renowned author of four books, launched her newest title and kindly invited the group to participate in the next event, an insider talk with the author of a forthcoming book, Apple in China. Attendees were John Delmar, Bill and Joan Brothers, Samuel Yang, Larry Miao, Jesse Nuese, David Dempsey, Andrew Ross, Jim Clark, Henry Tang, Douglas Lee, and Kevin Rao. Best of all, Professor Ronald Michael Schramm gave a keynote speech about China, which was presented by Steven Schuster. Guests enjoyed a reception of charcuterie boards and a selection of fine red and white wines. For the first time and a long time, Harry Edelson, the chairman and founder of China Investment Group 24 years ago, missed this exciting blast.
