Yesterday evening at the United Nations in the General Assembly, we could’ve been in Moscow as we celebrated the end of World War II 80 years ago with Russia. The vocal group, Turesky & soprano, is a Nth-degree spectacle, singing and performing lively and moving rhythmically. For two hours, we were transported to Moscow, with Russia, our partners to end Nazism. The General Assembly seats and the room were packed. Politics didn’t exist at this performance as the performers expressed their delight in New York City in America. The evening ended with the Russians’ touching National Anthem. For a few hours, we experienced an elite Russian cultural exchange, barebones.

The Turetsky Choir & Soprano delivered an unforgettable performance at the United Nations, filling the hall with extraordinary energy and world-class talent. This was more than a concert — it was a powerful tribute to history, honoring the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the fight against Nazism so that future generations could live in freedom.
In today’s tense global climate, with the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the evening carried even deeper meaning. The performances included moments of profound remembrance, especially the moving tribute to fallen soldiers, reminding us of the heavy price of peace.
A heartfelt thank you to the United Nations for hosting this important cultural event, reminding the world of the need for remembrance, unity, and hope. And yes, we continue to pray for peace.
