Old Cities, New Eyes

UN Ambassador of the United Kingdom, H.E. Ms. Karen Pierce, in collaboration with The Institute for Digital Archaeology, the Dubai Future Foundation, and the United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations, hosted a new exhibition, "Old Cities, New Eyes". The exhibition showcased the importance of cultural heritage in the ancient city of Palmyra and the modern city of London shown through virtual reality, 3D modelling, and unique photographs. The exhibition took a step into the past and present by presenting a better understanding of our diverse cultural heritages and how to better connect them, therefore engaging the bridge to our humanity. This exhibition encompassed over 200 years of developing technology.
