An Evening of Jazz at The Turkish Embassy

The Turkish Embassy is hosted “Ertegun Jazz Night” at the Ambassador’s residence on June 21, 2023.

#ErtegunJazzSeries started more than a decade ago to honor Ertegün brothers’ legacy and their fight against racism by hosting Jazz sessions at the Residence of the Turkish Embassy in DC.

Our #ErtegunJazzSeries is not only a celebration of jazz music, but also honors #Turkey’s Ertegün family for their unconventional actions during segregation in the 1930s & '40s that bridged cultures & transformed #jazz music in America!
