Auld Lang Syne: Ambassador Luis Doblas

NYC, 1968

Ambassador Luis Doblas of Costa Rica to the United Nations was a popular and well-respected UN activist. He adopted my little Yorkie dog where he and his wife took him to Costa Rica for a wonderful life experience. We used to live in the country, but the little Yorkie preferred running free in the backyard. So Ambassador Doblas told me that he will give him fresh air in his hacienda in Costa Rica.
