OIC Secretary-General Congratulates Kazakhstan on the Success of the Referendum

Jeddah, 8 June 2022

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) dispatched a mission to observe the referendum that took place on June 05, 2022, in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The OIC mission observed the referendum process in the capital, Nur-Sultan, and its suburbs and noted with satisfaction that it was conducted in a peaceful, transparent, and orderly manner.

H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, the OIC’s Secretary-General, congratulated the government and people of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the success of the referendum process and praised the profound maturity and sense of responsibility demonstrated by the people of Kazakhstan throughout this process.
